A: I first picked up a camera seriously when I was in college, and I fell in love with documenting moments and life's story as I traveled around with my husband. But it wasn't until I graduated with my Bachelors of Business that I took it on as a full-time career as a portrait photographer. So, we're talking 9+ years now as a profession. Man, now I feel old. Haha!

This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use two Nikon D850s with a 24mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm macro, 70-200mm and 300mm lenses. Both are literally on me at all times throughout your wedding day so I never have to worry about changing lenses, switching memory cards, or changing batteries. Every moment matters - and this is where the 9+ years of experience really kicks in. 

A: This is such a tricky questions because every wedding day is different. For most weddings, 8 hours is plenty of coverage. If you are getting ready off-site, or wanting to document your exit, then 10 hours would be more ideal. You can always add more hours if you need to once you finalize your timeline. 

A: Yes, I do! My retainer to secure your date is a flat rate of only $1000. The remainder of your total is paid in installments throughout your journey with me.

In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, I have a list of colleagues that we can call on to replace me that have similar styles of photography & editing. That said, in the 9+ years I've been doing this full-time, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.
